Special Meeting of Co-Owners planned for April

A Special Meeting of the Council of Co-Owners is expected to be held in April for the purpose of presenting for a vote plans for the extensive renovations of the Jackrabbit Pool complex which require Co-Owner approval under the provisions of Article V of the Condominium By-Laws. In advance of the meeting you will receive a package containing details of the renovation plans, financial projections for 2015 and 2016 and your ballot. The package will be sent via regular mail and email. The information will also be available on the web site. If you are not able to attend in person, you will be able to submit your absentee ballot by regular mail or email.

The Jackrabbit Pool Complex opened in 1996 and is the centerpiece of the Resort's recreation venues. Construction will be performed in phases during 2015 and 2016 thereby causing minimal disruption to guests. When completed, the main swimming pool will have a fresh updated appearance complimented by a new adult pool with separate lounge area, expanded kiddie pool with play area, and updated food service facilities funded by Marriott.

Cash flow from operations is projected to be sufficient to fund the project without the need for the Partnership to borrow additional funds.

Board of Directors will meet on March 11, 2015

A Special Meeting of the Board of Directors commenced on January 19, 2015, was continued on February 23 and will be concluded on March 11, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. MST. Instructions for listening to the meeting via conference telephone are posted on the Meetings and Events page - Board of Directors, on the Camelback Owner's web site. At the February 23 session, the Board reviewed preliminary financial projections and received a report from the By-Laws Review Committee.

Camelback room rates now posted through June 10

Rates for regular and sun deck rooms through June 10, 2015 are now posted on the Camelback Room Rates page. The number of days your unit is charged when you use vacation time at a reciprocal property is based upon the rate in effect the day of your stay at the participating hotel. We suggest that you consult this page prior to making your plans if you need to forecast your vacation time usage.

 A reminder about reciprocal properties

When making plans to use vacation time at a property that participates in the reciprocal exchange program be sure to book your reservations directly with Marriott. This can be done on the Marriott.com web site, through the Marriott toll free reservation numbers or with the property directly. Do not use an on line travel agency (OTA) or other third party provider. Booking your reservation through the Marriott channels ensures that you will receive reimbursement as well as your Marriott Rewards points and Platinum Member amenities.

Request vacation time at Camelback Inn on-line

Just log on to www.camelbackowners.com. Key in your password, click the Reservations Page link at the left and follow the instructions. Your request goes directly to the Camelback Reservations Team. They will send you confirmation by the next business day. It's that simple. No need to call, fax or email.

Changes for Condominium Sales Operations now in effect

Host Hotels and Resorts, Inc. recently announced that the sales and marketing of Condominium units is now handled by First Financial Equity Corporation, a full service licensed securities broker with offices in Scottsdale. The move will have no financial impact on the Partnership and is expected to expand the potential market for the resale of Condominium Units.

The list of those Units that are currently being offered for sale by other Co-Owners will continue to be posted on the Co-Owner's web site and was most recently updated on February 18, 2015. To view the list, log on and click the "Units Available for Resale" tab on the left. Contact information for First Financial Equity Corporation can also be found on the Units Available for Resale web page.

June and Wanda continue to handle Partnership business, including reimbursement for reciprocal stays, from the Condominium Office on property.
