Amending the Documents - Votes are urgently needed |
The Board of Directors and the By-Laws Review Committee have proposed important changes to the governing documents that have been overwhelmingly supported by owners who have already voted. Each of the proposals requires a vote of 75% of the total ownership. To date, we have reached approximately 65%. Achieving the 75% threshold is especially challenging since many units have multiple owners and each owner must cast an individual vote.
We have until August 25, 2016, the date of the continued meeting, to complete the process. If you have not already voted, you will soon receive a mailing containing a ballot and reply envelope. Please give this matter priority and help us pass these important revisions.

Marriott Hotels in South America |
The 2016 Olympic Games are just two weeks away and the JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, on Copacabana Beach, is near many Olympic venues. Even if you are not attending the games in person, it's interesting to consider the options in Brazil and other South American countries available through the reciprocal exchange program. Brazil also has two Marriott properties in Sao Paulo.
Chile offers a Ritz-Carlton, Marriott and Renaissance Hotel each located in the capital city of Santiago. The JW Marriott Quito, Ecuador, is situated high above the city and is a great starting point for a visit to the Galapagos Islands. In Peru, there are two JW Marriott Hotels. The JW Marriott Lima offers spectacular ocean views and is located in the historic Miraflores District. The JW Marriott El Convento Cusco was recently voted one of the top ten South American hotels by readers of Conde Nast Traveler. The hotel was built atop ancient Incan ruins and offers luxury accommodations with easy access to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
